Letter From the Heart – November 2011

October 28, 2011
Is it just me or is fall still hanging around. Just yesterday I was reading how global warming may shorten the “leaf peeping” season in the Northeastern part of the country. However, just having returned from Utah visiting family, I noticed the trees are far from done doing their “thing.” And here at home, today (October 27th) is the first cold day of the year. Dave was up in Bear Valley with the pups…in shorts. (Dave, not the pups).

So, while I believe global warming is real and is a real problem, we here in Anchorage seem to benefit
a bit with the weather changes. Dave says when he arrived in 1975 there were two seasons: winter and not so much winter. While we enjoy the lateness of fall, it will be nice for all those cross-country skiers in our neighborhood to get off their wheels and onto their skis. Oh yes, and Dave has finally put up the mower and dragged out the snow blower. Isn’t change wonderful? (Perhaps a little tongue in cheek)

This holiday season I am thankful for my clients, friends, and family. My team and I would love to show our gratitude by giving you a pumpkin pie for the holiday season.
Call today (257-0112) to reserve your pumpkin pie! We will be taking reservations until November 16th. Pick up is anytime between 3 pm and 6 pm on Tuesday, November 22nd at the
Re/Max Office, or let us know if you need to make special arrangements.
